Headquartered in Bedford Park, Illinois, Calmark was a designer and manufacturer of rugged printed circuit board guides, conduction frame assemblies, and extractors for use in non-benign airborne, maritime, and rugged terrain transportation. In May 2014, Switzerland-based Pentair Ltd. announced that Calmark and Birtcher products have been rebranded and integrated into its Schroff brand of electronics.

Conduction Cooled Assemblies: Designed to cool circuit boards in harsh environments where traditional cooling methods are not practical, Calmark / Schroff conduction cooled assemblies provide much needed structural support of the plug-in module during high shock and high vibration scenarios. Calmark / Schroff assemblies are integrated with extractors that provide more than enough force to disengage board connectors. They are compatible with ccPMCs (conduction-cooled PCI mezzanine card) and XMCs (switched mezzanine card). To prevent corrosion, the assemblies come in black anodize, chem film, or electroless nickel plating.
Card-Lok: The Calmark / Schroff line of Card-Lok brand retainers are ideal for cold plate/heat exchanger applications. For maximum reliability, a screw-actuated wedge locks the board module assembly firmly in place. For maximum thermal transfer, the wedge design ensures optimal contact between the thermal paths and the heat sinking surface.
Channel-Lok: Consisting of a three or five segment retainer mounted in its own self-contained heatsink channel, the Calmark / Schroff line of Channel-Lok brand retainers protect the plug-in unit from shock and vibration. A screw actuation system ensures zero insertion and extraction force on the plug-in unit.
Retainers: Calmark / Schroff retainers protect printed circuit boards from heat sinking, grounding, shock, and vibration.
Card Guides: With an easy snap-on design and a wide lead-in, Calmark / Schroff card guides allow clients using louver- or lance-type card guides to easily switch to an insulated nylon card guide with minimal changes to strength and air flow.
