Through an initiative to increase technologic warfare capabilities throughout the Department of Defense and U.S. military, the Pentagon has created a task force to address shortfalls. This panel is dubbed the Electronic Warfare Executive Committee. Deputy of Defense Bob Work stated, “They believe it is an important part of their offensive and defensive arsenal, and it's going to be on the forefront of any initial guided munitions salvo exchange.”
