By June, it is expected that the first customers will be 100 percent paperless by managing its engines through Boost. With full integration into the configuration manager, electronic engine logbook and access to technical publications, Boost will allow customers to link directly into interactive technical publications, tailor the configuration of customers’ engines, and track technical upgrades and modifications by linking directly into the engine logbook.

As for security, Boost will periodically perform a consistency check to warn if something is amiss with the configuration of the engine and being hosted on an IBM online secured database that employs a digital signature system. The system will also scan fleets against service bulletins checking for updates with the option of further configuration and using technical data to further build more services.
